About this area

Its official technical name in the engineering documents is "Estación 9 ALO": it sits between Calle 139 and Canal Cafam, within the corridor reserved for the future Avenida Longitudinal de Occidente (ALO), according to Empresa Metro de Bogotá's Chapter 3, Project Description. An older, 2022 source placed it approximately at Calle 130, but the more recent technical document cited above is the more precise reference. As with the rest of this line's stations, the name is still a working label, not yet confirmed.

Project status

International public re-tender

The first tender round was declared void in April 2026. Contract award is expected in Q1 2027, with construction targeted to begin around 2030.
