Bogotá Metro Line 2

Line 2 will connect Chapinero with Suba along a 15.5 km route with 11 stations, interchanging with Line 1 at Calle 72. The project is currently in international public re-tender.

Project status

Current phase: International public re-tender

The first tender round was declared void in April 2026. Contract award is expected in Q1 2027, with construction targeted to begin around 2030.
