About this area

According to Line 2's official route, the corridor arrives via Calle 72A — after crossing the Salitre river — and crosses Avenida Carrera 68; this station, whose label is still an unconfirmed working name, sits on the northwest corner of that crossing, according to Bogotá Open Data. Avenida Carrera 68 already has its own TransMilenio station, Avenida 68, opened in 2000, serving the Las Ferias, La Floresta, and Metrópolis neighborhoods in the Engativá locality, according to Wikipedia. That TransMilenio station is a physically distinct point from this future metro station — they share the avenue's name, but they're not the same place.
