About this area
The avenue above this station, NQS, takes its name from Norte-Quito-Sur; before 1957 it was called Avenida Cundinamarca, according to Wikipedia. Its route dates back to Bogotá's 1951 Plan Piloto, drawn up by Swiss-French urban planner Le Corbusier, where it marked the eastern edge of a planned green strip through the city, according to Wikipedia. That history is about the road itself — the station's own name, as noted above, is still a working label, not final.
