Zona T & Zona Rosa: Shopping and Nightlife, a Short Ride from the Metro
Last updated: July 2026
Bogotá's best-known shopping and nightlife district for visitors: pedestrian streets lined with restaurants, international brands, and the city's densest concentration of bars and clubs.

What to see and do
Zona T
A T-shaped pedestrian complex packed with restaurants, bars, and shops — the classic meeting point for dining or shopping in northern Bogotá.
Zona Rosa
The nightlife district surrounding Zona T, with the city's highest concentration of bars and clubs.
Getting there from Line 1
Important: Zona T is NOT walkable from Calle 72 station, Line 1's northern terminus. It sits roughly 1 to 1.3 km further north. The most practical option is a taxi or ride-hailing app (Uber, inDrive) from the station, or connecting to a TransMilenio/SITP bus heading up Autopista Norte or Carrera Séptima.
Where to stay
This is the most sought-after area for visitors who want to be close to restaurants and nightlife — though, as noted above, it isn't right next to a Metro station.
