About this area
Calle 63 takes its name from the avenue of the same name, on the station's north side, which will also connect directly to the Calle 63 TransMilenio station via pedestrian bridges, between calles 61 and 63 on Avenida Caracas, according to Wikipedia and bogota.gov.co. It mainly serves the Chapinero Central and Chapinero Occidental neighborhoods, on the border between the Chapinero and Teusaquillo localities — a corridor with a strong educational presence, home to several nearby university campuses, including Los Libertadores, Colombo Germana, Konrad Lorenz, CIDCA, and San José, according to Wikipedia.
